At times you may need to share secrets stored in the vault with other users within your organization. Cyolo supports this functionality in a secure, robust manner.

You can assign specific secrets for sharing or groups of secrets.

See Labels on How to Configure Secrets for details on creating and assigning labels to secrets.

Sharing Secrets

To share a secret:

1. Go to Vault and then Access Controls.

2. Click New.

3. Enter Name and Description.
4. Click Identities and select Groups, Users, and/or API keys you want to provide access to.

5. Select Secrets or Labels and search for the secrets, or labelled group of secrets to associate with this Access Control entry.

6. Click Save.

Viewing Secrets

To view a secret:

1. Click the profile menu at the top right of the screen and select Applications Portal.

3. Click the profile menu at the top right of the screen and select System Secrets.

4. Click the Preview icon at the far right of the secret row.

5. The secret name and general details appear.
6. Click the View icon to see the Secret.
